Good promises are developed with intention and do have promoting meaning. Commitments should be thoughtfully negotiated and the person making the promise should feel confident he or she can deliver on the promise, which Almighty God is the leading sample of Good Promise.
God promises eternal life to those who drink of the water, meaning grace, offered by God through Jesus Christ. God promised us certainty and assurance of salvation. Our eternal life is kept safe in God's hands. Jesus promises to return to us and to bring us into heaven with him.
Meanwhile, some of the promises of God which are essential to Christianity are:
1. God promises to strengthen you.
2. God promises to give you rest.
3. God promises to take care of all your needs.
4. God promises to answer your prayers.
5. God promises to work everything out for your good.
6. God promises to be with you.
7. God promises to protect you.
8. God promises freedom from sin.
9. The promise of the resurrection. "I will not leave you as orphans; "I will come to you".
10. The promise of the Holy Spirit. "He lives with you and will be in you".
11. The promise of Christ's return.
Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will fulfil the good promise I have made to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. Jeremiah 33:14.
Beloved, as you worship in His sanctuary today, I pray every unfulfilled promise in your life shall be fulfilled, in your home there shall be good tidings, the Lord shall establish His covenant with you and grant you your heart desires. Every week, day, hour, minute, second to the remaining days of this year shall be a time of your testimony in Jesus' name, Amen! Have a Spirit Filled Service and Stay Protected.
