Testimony simply means a declaration of truth or fact.
Testimony is the self revelation of God. In other words, it represents God's heart desire, which is also God's requirement; or we may say, God's standard.
"They will give a testimony of Your great goodness and will joyfully sing of Your righteousness".
" The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and great in faithful love".
Psalms 145:7-8
In accordance to biblical illustration of testimony, especially within the Christianity world, the term is use "to testify" or "to give one's testimony" meaning to tell the story of how one became a Christian, what lead you to become a pastor, an evangelist, a church choir, a worker in church, how and why God favoured you, how you got God blessing and mercy and so on.
Testifying may refer to a specific event in a Christian's life in which God did something deemed particularly worth sharing.
🎚️Bible says the main reason to share our testimony is because God tells us to do so in
1 Peter 3:15-16.
This verse reminds us to worship Christ as Lord of our lives and if someone asks about our hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it with the utmost courtesy.
📗Biblical benefits of sharing testimony: It is important to share our testimonies because it is the recounting of the occurrence of the miraculous things that God did for you.
🎁Its also allows someone else the opportunity to believe God and trust that if He did it for one person, He can do it for another
🎁Sharing your testimony to people opens up the way for more blessings.
🎁God is pleased when you acknowledge his name. Telling someone about what he has done is acknowledging his power, his goodness and his love. This is pleasing to God and He is moved to bless you even more.
